The idea for this piece began with the experience of hearing different tower bells chime and echo across campuses so frequently in the south. This painted a beautiful scene of a potential “day in the South” which has inspired the production of this 9-minute, 3-movement work.
With mentorship from Steven Bryant, I am so honored and excited to bring this vision to life!
